Information:
DACTM is partnering with Texas Instruments (TI) for this 2-part online opportunity to help teachers explore how the strategic use of technology contributes to student learning and demonstration of knowledge. This workshop will focus on helping students demonstrate their knowledge on the SAT. In addition, it will help teachers become familiar with the redesign of the SAT and PSAT/NMSQT and illustrate some of the resources available to support students and teachers: strategies, activities, sample test items, technology. The workshop leverages instructional practices to support students to be more successful on these assessments and retain the math longer. Teachers will have the chance to implement what they learn in session1 and then come back to share their findings and receive more tips and tricks to use in session 2. Bring your TI-84 or TI-Nspire.
