New NAEP Scores around Detroit and Michigan

Detroit News- NAEP: Detroit students improve in math; Michigan moves up in rankings

"Detroit fourth-graders significantly improved their scores in math on a national test, but overall, the city's students scored the lowest for the sixth time among 27 big-city districts nationwide..." Via Detroit News released 10.30.19


NCTM Reacts to New NAEP Scores

"In 2019, average mathematics scores for the nation's students were 1 point higher at grade 4 and 1 point lower at grade 8 than in 2017.
